Overseer

This fantastical imagery brings to mind similar comparisons between the modern poor and the slaves of the ancient world that featured so memorably in Fritz Lang's Metropolis (1927) but while "The Overseer" is rich in imagery and atmosphere, Casson never quite manages to find space for a believable or compelling character arc.
