Admitting that makes me feel like an inferior film fan but, in fact, Stanley Kubrick is one of my favorite directors of all time Lolita, A Clockwork Orange, and The Shining being my All-Times.

It makes me think that if Kubrick had directed this and Medak The Shining, The Changeling would be the gold standard and The Shining would be the one that fell by the wayside.
