reesetee commented on the word bricks and clicks
Also known as "clicks and mortar" or "clicks and bricks," this term arose in the 1990s to refer to a sales model for selling in traditional stores (bricks) and on the Internet (clicks). Initially it was used widely by companies whose primary business was Internet-based, but established "bricks" companies followed after it became clear that businesses didn't have to limit themselves to one or the other model.
