Many forums are starting to implement policies that ban members that "dirty delete" posts. Dirty deleting, for those who are unfamiliar, is when an OP starts an engagement and after receiving any type of pushback deletes the post in response.

I don't think dirty deleting is that much of a problem. I think harassing people who dirty delete is a problem. And naming it 'dirty deleting' is something that was done to further shame the people who do it, and to justify ganging up on the controversial individual
