gerard butler does a good job as the king of the spartans leading his army into battle and almost certain death, but as i've noticed in most of his roles, tends to overact a bit. david wenham is also good, but the whole time he was on screen, i kept thinking "that's faramir!"

When I think of Gerard Butler as Thor, I can't help but think "THIS IS ASGAAAARD!" looking through imdb heres some ppl i think could do possibly fit the part, feel free to agree or disagree: david wenham: was dilios in 300 (the spartan who leonidas sent back to tell the story / the narrator), and faramir in lotr, he would have to bulk up a little more than he was in 300, also not sure how tall he is, but good actor I wish I could add an original sentiment that hasn't been stated already ...
