(I guess there is a distinction between "nonracial" and "appealing to whites" -- but then only with a black candidate would we be commenting on this being pitched to whites -- put Hilary into this ad in place of Barack, and is it "appealing to whites"??) (But I will admit that my memory for this kind of thing (ads and video in general) is absolutely pathetic, I have forgotten most of the plot of a movie by the time I walk out of a theater, so I can't actually recall any specifics from any of Obama's other commercials ...)
