Other species under threat include the red goshawk (Erythrotriorchis radiatus VU), malleefowl (Leipoa ocellata VU), plains-wanderer (Pedionomus torquatus EN), and the swift parrot (Lathamus discolor EN) which winters here each summer, returning to Tasmania to breed.
