- An order of tracheate arachnidans, with segmented abdomen not distinctly separated from the cephalothorax, didactyl or chelate maxillary palps, two or four eyes, and no postabdomen nor poison-glands; the false scorpions, of the families Cheliferidæ and Obisiidæ. Also called
Cheliferidea . AlsoPseudoscorpionina , and as a family Pseudoscorpionidæ.
