janetz1988 commented on the word torsion couple
A torsion couple, also known as a torque couple, is a pair of equal and opposite forces separated by a finite distance, producing a rotational force around an axis. It is a special case of moments and does not produce any translation, only rotation. To explain this to someone who does not like math, you can use an example of two hands turning a steering wheel. The two hands grip the wheel, with each hand applying a force of equal magnitude but opposite direction. This causes the wheel to rotate. If both hands applied a force in the same direction, the wheel would not rotate and the sum of the moments created by each force would be zero.

Description is close, but it's not "Four" or "three" it's "Fore sheets to the wind" as in the bow of the ship. Probably misunderstood by those who couldn't read or write as nautical days declined and passed on through generations. When a sailing ships fore sheets are to the wind, the ship is "tacking." "There is still a lot we don’t know about the unfolding mass salmon die off, but the question I tried to get answered by the Government on the 6th of March 2025 was whether the salmon industry are harvesting diseased fish and selling them for human consumption.
I asked this question because I was told by workers in the industry, that in pens containing dead salmon, the live, and quite probably infected salmon, (referred to in the industry as flappers because they’re still showing signs of life when others around them are dead), are being salvaged for human consumption, while the dead fish are being disposed of."

Phrase: When the photocopier runs out of ink
This phrase used to describe a situation where an imitation or copy is revealed to be unoriginal or counterfeit in nature. This phrase can also be shortened to "The photocopier ran out of ink" and still convey the same meaning. The phrase carries an element of intentional absurdity, as photocopiers do not actually use ink (they use toner).
The etymology of this phrase traces back to March 2025 when the cover art for a rapper's album was mocked online after being exposed as strikingly similar to the cover art of another rapper's album— with only one noticeable difference. The cover art for rapper Doeshii's album depicted her holding an alligator while sitting in a single-seater sofa, against a faded monochromatic backdrop. The online mockery began when the image was compared to the cover art for a song by the rapper Shah, which featured him holding his pet alligator, sitting in a single-seater sofa, against a faded monochromatic backdrop. The only notable difference was that Doeshii's image featured an albino alligator, leading to the meme captioned "When the photocopier runs out of ink," in reference to the lack of pigment in her cover art's alligator.
Example:
Snugglington and Sunny are at an art gallery observing its owner insist a painting is an original, until a patron, on closer inspection, finds a stamp on the painting that says "Authentication denied. This is a Replica," prompting Snugglington to mockingly say "When the photocopier runs out of ink."
