Triangulation

Sometimes I wish there were a way to create matrices or charts here, but I'm going to see whether I can use a list to get to the same place. This will be an attempt to map out an iroquoisy sequence that led me from a lunchtime epiphany about my next craft project (Homemade headbands! Glittery tiaras!) to my favorite word here on Wordnik (all roads lead to theodolite).

This particular sequence started when I picked up a set of "charting and mapping" pen nibs a week or two ago--so I'll begin the list there--but it has a lot to do with Michael Chabon's Maps & Legends, which I purchased at a mega-bookstore last night.
