I get some of your concerns, but I think based on everything I know about this, how the museum fits with EMP and the Needle, is focused on a local artists, is paid for, temporary, includes an awesome garden, etc, it makes a lot of sense

I like this better than Longclaw (because I think the wolf head could have been done better), also because Needle is my favotite sword in the series.
