Using PgUp/PgDn as hotkeys as seen below, I can do whatever I ever want without worrying about the slides advancing correctly, and I'm never interrupted either.

In addition, the Shift keys aren't abbreviated (a common netbook design shortcoming), the arrow and PgUp/PgDn keys are not weirdly arranged or taking away space from other keys, and the keyboard is firm and rock-solid when typing.
