Shug is on my booklist of middle school must-haves.

She agreed that Shug is a very nice book and she even imagined and shared with me how the continuation of the story might go (it's only her imagination though) when shug grew up and she turned into a very beautiful person (innerself and pysically) and also became very close with Jack.
