cuajiote verde , and to T. lancifolia (Bursera lancifolia of Engler), calledcuajiote chino , both of which yield a gum-resin calledgum-archipin , used as an antidote for scorpions' stings, and having emetic and purgative properties. These gums are also used for mending broken porcelain and glass.
