I am sad, because there are so little of us Wordies. Mollusque, Yarb, Uselessness, Resetee and myself are the ever-reappearing names and the only ones! At some sites you post a comment and - vhooosh!- it's 8742 comments down the list. But here, You have to wait about 5 minutes for your comment to move down once(!), unless there's a new guy who comments way too much (like me).

Sadly, some of us don't have access to wordie during work hours. I find that it severely curtails my ability to get into the thick of things. TSB, do check out slumry's comments. She racked up over 1200 comments in under three months. Amazing.

Rather than lambasting my adoption agency for not providing them all with bespoke care, why not take responsiblity for your own overactive word-loins and give them a nice list of their own?

aracdia: I can't give any guarantees on the provenance or legitimacy of any of these words. If you like the look of cynyc enough to take a punt on her, you go ahead. But it's not up to me to vouch for her "reality".

asativum / colleen: yes, those two are especially fine specimens aren't they? Quality office girls are hard to find these days, and for them to come with carnal knowledge is an added bonus.

I'd like to apply for mare cognitum please. I have 3.25 acres of well-maintained pasture. I am cognizant - the vast majority of the time. I love horses (I really only beat the dead ones in word-play, honest - I can't even yell at my mare). And, finally, my old girl could use a companion.

Man, you're strict. Well, I can promise that her mouth will be looked into once a year by an equine vet who will need to float her teeth, of course. Other than that, her mouth only will need to be inspected for suspicious gifts, which I'm assuming will never occur, given her obviously fine bloodline. Do we have a deal?

If nobody else cares about that slightly pretentious poseur, pseudoinverse, I'd be happy to offer lodging and three squares on my 'statistical terms' list. He'd be much happier billeted with his clone, the generalized inverse, and his cousin, the Moore-Penrose inverse, and would be very useful for many of the statistical frolicking that goes on there.
