Practical Scrabble Words (TWL)

This beautiful collection of words is from my first years playing digital Scrabble. What sets this list apart from the rest is that every each of these words were, at one point, 'The Word' that you should have played but didn't know of. Don't make that mistake :)

And, of course, there's a background behind many, many of these words. A story of a time and place, a missed opportunity when you were playing at the bus mall, waiting for a friend, back in high school lunch time, or when you hear someone say in conversation a word you only used in the game for years; when you play the word and your friend goes "WTF?"

...or just chilling in your shack; That word will always carry that feel to it. Im talking to you, orgeats, zanana, brrr, phpht, oorali...

You won't find pretentious words like "quixotic" or "quizzical" because these one-in-a-million chance words are just for show. If they didn't see the light of day on a board over thousands of games; they're useless.

Maybe I'll update this list and my other ones soon. I don't like how Wordnik has behaved lately, not much motivation left.
