MikeG commented on the word Esquivalience
Considering the origins of this site, I am surprised the word is not here. In a sentence:
Esquivalience is the Mountweazel of the 21st Century.
In a paragraph: To entertainthemselves at dull cocktail parties, Julius and Rebecca invented a game they called Esquivalience. Jules dropped some Gobbledygook on one side of the room, and Becca timed how long it took to reach her on the other side.

Gobbledygook is the use of "big words" to the extreme. In this usage a horse becomes an equine creature. A lion becomes the largest of African felines. Big words become polysylabic nomenclature. Writers use Gobbledygook to try to impress their readers.
