Sexpats are expatriots, generally from wealthier countries, who live in parts of the world where the economic climate is such that it's easier for them to get sex in exchange for something of value. It is a subset of prostitution. It is most commonly seen in SE Asia, where the social mores make it less of a stigma than in other places. I originally heard this word from a Canadian friend of mine who lives in Thailand. She is not a sexpat, but is vexed by them constantly, and rants about them on Facebook.
