jgould commented on the word sferics
Oh it's time to write some lyrics
About those darned old sferics
But it's hard to wax rhapsodic in the rain.
Midst the cold and drear and drizzle
My poetry goes a-fizzle
So I'll just slog until the sun attain.

A handful of stammel of cloth or of horse
Is to give up the scarlet and racer of course.

jgould commented on the word portemonnai
In her pert portemonnai her fortune it fit
But in matters of cash, slim's not a hit.
So she gave up the narrow
For men with money by the 'barrow
Now not a worry, not a whit.
jgould commented on the word selkie
With his hand on the wheel
Midst selkie and seal
Unsure as to which one was real.
He brought one to lair
Right into the air
Trying to transform to a pair.
Oh Selkie! he cried
I was alone, could have died
Now I'm happily sealed for a ride.

jgould commented on the word murrey
The merry monks in murrey
Went out to ride to Surrey
But stomachs to ribs
They put on their bibs
To eat of that staining mulberry.
