Star Hopper was one of the few of these things that I actually owned. It was a green transparent unicorn with a slightly bluish tint. It had bits of glitter stuck in its body, and its head was molded in such a way that it was permanently looking up. If I recall correctly, it had a pink picture of Saturn on its butt. It was quite hideous. Thought you'd like the visual.
I finally got around to reading the definitions you've written for some of the ponies. I haven't laughed so hard in quite a while. I only wish I was witty enough to contribute some!
Considering that they were spread out over 10 years, 300-odd ponies isn't quite as obscene an amount as it first appears. And I didn't even include most of the baby ponies! (I left out the ones that were simply an existing pony's name with the word Baby tacked onto the front. Baby Gusty, for example. The list would easily top 400 words had I included them).
Yes, they are all different toys. Although, some ponies had duplicate names (it must have been "I can't possibly think of another name!" Day in R & D).
Actually, I used various My Little Pony fansites to look up all the pony names. There are people out there who actually OWN most, if not all, of the ponies. I only have a dozen or so left from my childhood.
I'm quite sure they're not cookies, although, I did once find an online quiz entitled "Porn Star Or My Little Pony?" I failed it.

Holy crap, this is the funniest thing I've seen in a while. I'll have to try and think of some to add. Great idea!
