  • Story time. When I was a young lad, I saw a lobby card in a movie theater advertising an upcoming feature called "The Amazing Mr. X." For some reason I read "amazing" as "amaZING" (accent on the last syllable), reasoning that if an Amazon was an extraordinarily powerful woman, then an Amazing must be an extraordinarily powerful man.

    I was wrong, wasn't I?
