• A suborder proposed for such forms of palæocrinoids as have the lower arm-plates incorporated into the calyx by interradial plates, and in which all component parts of the test, dorsally and ventrally, are solidly connected by sutures. It comprises the families Platycrinidœ, Rhodocrinidœ, Acrocrinidœ, and Calyptocrinidœ.
