(n.): A healthful Ayurvedic "comfort food" that combines basmati rice and beans with ginger, cilantro and other common Indian spices (turmeric, cardamom, cinnamon, and cayenne) in a thick soup. My favorite uses whole mung beans rather than mung dal.
