I'm female and don't mind at all being called listmaster, or actor, or writer, or editor, or any of the supposedly male-sounding things... except in the case of waitress and of course dominatrix. I would prefer, in such a situation, *not* to be called a dominator (or waiter), because to me that means someone who kicks ass at dominoes (or waiting).
