a mawkish addition, to be sure, but included because one of my grandmothers used to say this when I was growing up. Derived from the Irish 'mo chuisle', it means (literally) my pulse.

Now fairly well known from the movie "Million-Dollar Baby" (2004). Though I've seen it with several different spellings.
