  • This word always amuses me--it sounds as though the poor migraine sufferer is a migraine specialist of some sort.

  • Or like having migraines is a special skill, or something you can get a license in.

    But yes, I'm only making light of the word, not the thing itself, which can be devastating. I used to think they were just bad headaches, until a good friend started getting them. Becoming violently sick and then passing out, somewhat beyond a headache.
