Mrs Byrne defines this as a "drum figure more difficult than the paradiddle". She is silent on its difficulty relative to the pataflafla, however.
Perhaps the chained ursine one can enlighten us?

R. Pumpum's seminal work 'Hit Me, Baby, Again And Again' suggests that this is more convoluted than even the flooperbunt. Mostly it involves a wristy tinkywock but the signature element is of course the crescendo yackamandatimting. Very few exponents have ever performed it consistently well.
