  • I know I beat a dead horse and I assume that the problem arises from software agents running unsupervised, but the only examples offered for this word in English (or pseudo-English) are in the ghastly gibberish of the LOL cats.

    The most frequently cited example I find is from Chaucer's "The Miller's Tale" in the description of Absalom: "Ful streight and evene lay his joly shode."
