Strangely enough, there isn't any squab in squab-pie, at least according to the OED. Mutton, yes. Pork, yes. Apples and onions, even, and a thick crust. But no squab.
Do you think this means that a pie containing chiefly squab would be called a "muttonporkapplesonions-pie"? What a world that would be...
