  • A common exclamation of my mother's, it comes from the Italian word for witch. Mom used it to mean something more akin to, "Your hair is a total wreck."

    It is more commonly known as a trade name for an Italian liqueur flavored with orange. I have never actually tasted it, but it sounds good.
