Though I had to read this a number of times to get that it's "tickle- ace" and not "tick- leace"--which sounds ... insectal.

I read it as "tick-leace" too, the first time. And the second and third. But then I found the definition and all was well.
Sure, insectal can be a madeupical word. Who's to stop you? Although insectuous sounds much, much worse.
