  • The cleavage gapes, the entrepreneurial spirit rises, the mind boggles as only a mind can.

This had me giggling for several minutes. Please note that it makes men more productive in the workplace but does not cure the common cold.

  • Lol frin. At first I thought this was a spoof site, but apparently not. Now Wee Willie Winkee AND his buxom missus can run through the town.

    Crikey!

    April 16, 2008

  • I'm not sure why, but those things give me the heebies. I wouldn't wear one.

    April 16, 2008

  • So presumably, somewhere in the Patent office, there is a patent claim for this particular example of the progress of the species?

    April 16, 2008

  • Interestingly, we had things like this (false shirt-fronts) when I was a little kid. My mom called them dickies. (Why are these things both called by cute little euphemisms for "penis"?) They seemed to always be attached to the garment that needed it--and they still are--but I think this is a good idea. As long as it doesn't slide around.

    April 16, 2008

  • I never liked dickies - especially the weird turtleneck ones that would slide around slaunchwise. A camisole is more versatile and has a nicer name, although undershirts and tank tops are just as effective.

    April 16, 2008

  • Interesting observation about the euphemistic names, chained_bear!

    April 16, 2008

  • Trivet: slaunchwise?? I want it!

P.S. I daresay that winkees are slightly more appealing than breast petals.

    April 16, 2008

  • Why do these sites have the same sickly pink colour scheme? Yuk.

    April 17, 2008

  • c_b, presumably because calling them penises would be both confusing and more off-putting.

    April 17, 2008

  • I can't imagine that anyone would be confused if I told them I was buying a penis online to stick to my bra and hide my cleavage...

    April 17, 2008

  • I think the pink is supposed to signify "girly." As though we wouldn't know.

    April 17, 2008

  • And there is always the humble singlet. Bonds of course.

    April 17, 2008

  • HA HA HA HA!!! Oh ha, ha, ha!! Reesetee, I'm calling these breast petals from now on. That's the only solution--it's feminine, it smacks of pink, and there's obviously no ulterior motive in using such a term, unlike using the term winkee or dickie.

Breast petals it is! Always plural, like scissors or pants.

    April 18, 2008

  • Oh, I don't know whether I can take credit for coining that, chained_bear. It probably comes up a zillion times when you Google "nipple covers," or whatever term you choose to embarrass yourself with.

Still, I'm glad you're enjoying the term. I think frindley's "cleavage gapes" is darn funny too. :-)

    April 18, 2008

  • *not googling nipple covers*

    April 18, 2008

  • No. No, I wouldn't advise it.

    April 18, 2008

  • These are pasties.

    April 18, 2008

  • They are indeed. But we're not so crude as to call them that, are we? No, they're breast petals, my friend.

    April 18, 2008

  • I thought the winkee was the breast petals. Now the pasties are the breast petals?? *not what I signed up for*

    April 19, 2008

  • Not to worry. "Breast petals" is an all-encompassing term.

    Wait....

    April 19, 2008

  • Observation upon reading the comments: My last comment here comes right above the one on whoopie cap. Coincidence or synonym?

    April 19, 2008

  • What kind of whoopie were you making at the time?
