Why, yes, I am--well, not exactly 'from' the North Shore, because I have lived in so many places that I am not from anywhere really, but I lived--yes, in Lynn!--for five years, and New England and the Boston area in particular is more home than any other place has been so far. I see you have a New England wordlist: wicked awesome! :D The names of places and things in those parts are terribly fascinating.
Once upon a time, I lived in the Boston area (and I plan to live there again as soon as I'm able). I quickly learned that the above city is pronounced 'Wooster', and that may have been the first inkling I was going to be madly in love with New England.
HAHAHAHA. It's you. And I can get my stalker badge now. (I swear to you, as soon as I saw 'words gone wilde' in the new wordlists box, I was absolutely certain you were here. Who else would it have been?)
Now I will demonstrate my large vocabulary and ceremoniously defenestrate you.
'Moon' itself is already such a beautiful & exquisite word in itself; add another delectable combination of letters--'light', which glides across the tongue and throat like the very substance it names--and it is pure ecstacy. There are few words that suggest more enchantment than 'moonlight', although it can be tremendously overused.
...Yes, that was incredibly intelligent. I do adore that word. It is more descriptive and biting than anything we've got in English (that is also acceptable in polite company, anyway).
