dewiclark29, since I can see you are using Wordie to keep track of English words pronunciation and definitions, and since this is (part of) what I do here as well,
I think you might enjoy one of Wordie's new features: private notes. It's like a yellow sticky note you add to the word page, that makes it easier for you to keep personal comments to words. I use it mainly for Italian translations and other things that in my opinion would be of no interest for anyone else.
Just thought an infovore would like to know it!

Oh, wow! I wish I could see all of that too.

Dewster -- every time I see your screen name I think of Lewis and Clark, then I think of Sacagawea, then I get a mental picture of an animal skin canoe, with lashings and.... it just goes on like that!
Just thought I'd share!

Dewiclark, welcome to Wordie! You may find it more edifying to enter just a word, without the phonetic pronunciation. Then, on the word page, you can enter whatever comments you like about the word.
That way when people type in your word, they'll find the page, and see your notes as well. The way some of your words are entered now, no one will find them unless they are clicking directly on your lists.
Also, you may not be aware, on each word page are several icons beneath the word. Each of these icons takes you to a dictionary or Wikipedia page on the word. That saves Wordie users the time and effort of putting in pronunciations, definitions, and other information that can be found in the dictionary.
Clicking around on some of the words and lists that appear on the front page might be fun for you too!
Welcome to Wordie, and have fun!
