I love folk songs, and one of my favorites is the old American hymn "Come thou fount of every blessing." In some versions one line is "Here I'll raise my songs and praises," presumably to make the song more comprehensible. But in another version it's "Here I'll raise my Ebenezer," which always baffled me. (Gee, no, I never looked it up.) Thanks for this entry!

I grew up with Cashmere Bouquet soap and powder as our houshold favorites. It was decades later that I figured out what the name meant!
