"snerd" is one of those snobbish nerds from Silicon Valley, Austin, etc. whose view of the world is down their noses at the rest of us and through the rarer-than-thine air they inhabit. Ex.:I was just reading in the Times about Brooke Hammerling and all of those snerds she knows coast to coast, you know, youngish, rich-ish, and so preshish (preshish= "precious" pronounced in the greedy snivel of say, Gollum).
