Yiddish plural for in-laws. No one word sums up the relationship between father and mother of a bride and groom better than this.

It's Yiddish for the parents of the person of the bride or groom. The father is the "Mekhuten" and the mother is the "mekhutayneste." Very useful, and to the best of my knowledge, non-existent in English. It represents the unification of families by marriage. According to YIVO standard convention for transliteration from Yiddish to roman text, it should probably be "makhutonim."

Needs another definition: "Aim down sights" in gaming/shooting! (I presume shooting anyway, I only use it in the virtual sense)
