Has anyone seen this site? It is kind of like Wordie, except lists are much harder to use and find, words are harder to comment and find, it is more centered around "Look, we have 4 million words" than the actually users (like Wordie is), and there are no Princess Bride references.
Oh, it has the Urban Dictionary "thumbs up" and "thumbs down" buttons.

No "Princess Bride" references...? Then... why... what are they THERE for? *does not compute*

4 million words is nice, but do they have strappleberry? Or madeupical?
Nope. Meh--not impressed (and they define 'meh' as the NYSE ticker for Midwest Express Holdings. BZZZZZ! Wrong!)
Actually, though, I've wondered if you folks would be interested in a way to vote on citations. I don't like the idea of being able to 'thumbs down' anyone, so I was thinking just positive votes -- some way to float the highlights to the top. What say you?

You'd never find cool conversations like dork out on lingoz.

Shall we take this discussion to features John? I like being able to vote for words or for discussions. Nothing as silly as the comment voting on Slashdot, but that might be a cool thing.

I (very) respectfully disagree with seanahan on being able to "vote" for words or conversations. We vote for them by our participation. Having a popularity contest for them seems antithetical to the spirit of Wordie. Plus, people tend to keep their own personal lists of favorite words, and those are delightful to browse.
I design web sites, and I always advise clients not to display hit counts. It invites comparisons and comparisons invite attitude. Wordie is so egalitarian and participatory the way it is.
