Lorem Ipsum sounds like a nice name, but knowing what it is kind of ruins it for me. It's like naming your kid Insert Name Here. And my Latin's pretty rusty, but doesn't the phrase mean "loves grief?" Kinda cruel.

I wonder if there's a photographic equivalent of lorem ipsum. I mean, there you are, doing a dummy layout that has text and pictures, you whack in some lorem ipsum for the text, and for the photos...? Test pattern? Grey marle swatch? Pictures of mannequins? Fennec cubs?
