I think minuscule is etymologically correct, but the solecism miniscule is sufficiently common to warrant inclusion in dictionaries. So it's a matter of preference; personally I much prefer minuscule.

I always thought it was minescule :s
It doesn't look right as 'miniscule'.
But I agree that minuscule is snazziest :)
