    Known as Woden in Anglo-Saxon. Apparently 'Wod' means mad. I can see where they're coming from. He was a bit of a loose cannon from the get-go.

    Odin was the son of Bor and Bestla as were Vili and Ve. The three got together at the beginning of time and mullered their grandad Ymir, using the bits for a spot of creative world building. After moulding the first two humans from driftwood the two brothers mooched off into the background and pretty much left Odin to it.
