sionnach commented on the word odyl
alternative spelling: odyle
Possibly the word with the most confusing on-line dictionary lookup I have ever encountered. Eventually, one manages to decipher that it means the "od" or "odic force", a vital energy or life force hypothesized by Baron Carl von Reichenbach. "Od" here is related to the Norse god, Odin.
