tiggytig commented on the word snurf
Snurf is a portmanteau of the words snuzzle and turf, which together are described as an area of fur on a cat that is created when the cat curls up on its side to sleep, and it highly prized as an area to snuzzle. Most commonly an assemblage of tummy and leg fur, this can easily encompass any combination of the prior in addition to neck, head, and tail fur.
