But I would imagine that if you got a home energy audit -- a "real" one, featuring a "blower door" test and maybe thermography (infrared scanning) and other latest technologies, you can find out how "leaky" your home is, along with other energy issues, and then take steps to upgrade its efficiency.

I think that we need to support some of the research in the many things like thermography, like improving mammography and improving MRI or even three-dimensional ultrasound and flow studies that actually might be a better imaging study that even mammography.
