  • I wonder what it would be like to carry an entire conversation with these. Funny-creepy.

  • I'm using your acronym idea for a list.

  • When I add a word straight to my new list, it always doubles it. Then if I delete the double, they both go. Am I going insane or is this a bug?

edit: I just noticed that if when I type in a new word to the list and then hit "left-arrow" over to the front of the word, then it doesn't double. Hmm.

  • This is my favorite list on Wordnik. Most of these words make me giggle with enjoyment.

  • I think autocomplete should be turned on/off based on personal user preferences.

I can see how for some it could be useful, but I hate it. It keeps interfering with my word look-ups and I have to re-search several times to get there.

  • The new site is lovely, and promising. May I make a simple request that you reduce the sensitivity or quick-draw forcefulness of the "autocomplete" feature in the Search at the top? I am having to re-type some searches multiple times.

  • Those are good. My (somewhat boring) suggestions: New Names for Economic Funerals, Unfunny Money, Terminal Financial Terminology, The Consequences of Short Term Thinking.

  • Timely and cute. I would rename this list title to something more specific.

    January 8, 2009

  • I think this ought to have any possible permutation.

  • I have a stifled giggle often but I don't like telling people about it.

    December 23, 2008

  • Does this word have anything to do with kilts?

    December 23, 2008

  • Ohh, I love this list. I recently re-discovered a story I wrote 10 years ago about the Thunderbird, which some people believe was the teratorn.

  • I don't know why, but I find this list so cute.
