As an experiment, members of the Wordie group on Facebook can now play Compendium on the discussion forum. Not sure if y'all are interested, but there's a game in session now. It'll run for a few days, so get over there and grab as many points as you can!

OK, uselessness here. Calling all Wordies! jennarenn and I have launched WordPlay! The rules for our first game, "Compendium," are a bit modified from our brainstorm here, so make sure you read up before taking the plunge. You'll also need to register as a player if you want to be included.
The first game starts Sunday, February 11, at 1:00pm sharp! Don't come too late or you might miss out!

Compendium.
When the game begins, the moderator will announce the category for that round. It's a race to list as many words in that category as possible! Post your words in the comment section, and be careful not to duplicate words that someone else has already listed. Valid words are worth one point apiece, but invalid words and duplicates will cost you a point!
The moderator's decisions are final, and he or she will add your words to the list as quickly as possible, deleting the associated comments in the process. The moderator will make note of who contributed each word, and announce the player with the highest score at the end of the game. Good luck!

Hey, it's Jennarenn. I have an even better idea! I've create a new alias; wordplay. I can give the password to whomever wants to play. Each player has to long in once a day and add a word. They should then add a comment claiming the word. What do you guys think?
