I like the sound of plinplon. What does it mean?

We use it as an onomatopoeia for the sound of doorbells.

That's one thing that I don't get about Italian social norms. If they ring the bell and there's no answer, they'll call out, "There's nobody?"
How can you answer? If you answer "Yes" it's obviously nonsense because there is somebody there, ie. yourself.
And if you answer "No" it appears to agree with the value of the question, ie. "No, nobody here."
I just hide when Italians go plinplon, saves me all the fretting :-<

hahaha yes, it's the only case (I think) when "nobody" is used instead of "anybody". Weird.

Weeeellll, if you're thinking of a subatomic particle, and can't quite remember what it is, and then suddenly it comes to you, even though it's crap ... most probably it's spoton.
There's also ronaldsnicknameisron which is a very insignificant particle.
