I just ran across another definition of "feak" while doing a bit of sleuthing on feague. "Feak" is also obsolete British slang for "anus," which makes sense when you consider the meaning of "feague."
So in this sense, seanahan, it's an ugly word for a...ummm...non-cute thing.
