Harry Potter is, perhaps,, an example of inexpensive slow wordism that I should have used (but then, I already have to fight the impulse to write 2,000-word columns: I left out a whole section on Herbert Marcuse talking about the difference between making love in a meadow and in a car too which when teased out was equally relevant).

We believe in the power of words as the building blocks of communication, and the versatility of the letters therein. We believe language unites humanity for the purposes of good or of evil, and it is our duty to use it with responsibility. We believe spelling and grammar are kind of important too, but we wouldn't take a bullet for them. We believe good communicators are good people. We believe some other stuff about words, too, but we can't tell you what it is until you complete our $375 wordism seminar, offered monthly at any of our campuses nationwide. Sign up today!
